Travertine is one of the most beloved natural stones in architecture — its warm, honey-beige tones and characteristic pitted texture have been used in buildings from the Roman Colosseum to countless prestige Sydney homes. The Travertine plaster finish we apply captures all of this visual character without the weight, cost, and installation complexity of real stone.

Applied by hand using a combination of trowelling and texturing techniques, the Travertine finish creates a surface that reads convincingly as natural travertine — complete with the characteristic open-pore texture, tonal variation, and warm golden-cream colouring. The depth achieved through layering and expert manipulation of the plaster cannot be replicated by any printed or textured wallcovering.

In Sydney homes, Travertine finishes are particularly popular as bathroom feature walls, fireplace surrounds, and feature walls in living and dining rooms. The warm, earthy tone brings a grounded, natural quality to modern interiors and sits beautifully alongside timber, brass, and natural stone accents.
